Through our grants, researchers and community volunteers are revolutionizing lung health and improving patient care in communities throughout the world.

Changing lives, transforming communities

Since 1996, we鈥檝e supported more than 1,200 recipients and awarded $13 million in funding for grants that have had a positive impact on lung health.

Our grantees have improved screening for sleep disorders in pregnant women, increased access to lung transplants for underweight patients with COPD, and researched the connection between pulmonary arterial hypertension and the microbiome. Their work has touched many corners of the world, from south Sacramento, California, to Haiti and Peru.
